Although I am mentally and physically tired (in a very good way), I am also spiritually and emotionally uplifted. I truly enjoyed the conference, and now I must process what I have learned in the quiet of my own space, I am like a kid in a toy store, “I am overly stimulated”. It is clear that artists and art organizations are on the many paths that have gone into making up the crossroads, we have to all figure out how we can connect to the paths/roads and not be stranded on the side ramps. We have to find ways to become more inclusive of the arts/organizations that surround us. We must build bridges, and tear down barriers. Arts organizations can not survive with out artist and artist can not survive and thrive without the aid of arts organizations we must find ways to connect and collaborate.
